Disaster Recovery
We associate Disaster Recovery (DR) with events like fires or floods that necessitate hardware replacements. However, DR is more often driven by incidents of crime, including physical theft or cybercrime, as well as user error (~70%). Unfortunately, cybercrime pays. Backups and Cloud Storage are great; they enable the restoration of individual files and folders, but not the entire computer or server.
DR uses "disk-image-level" backups to restore entire computer systems, including operating systems, applications, and data.

Recovery options include "bare-metal" recovery, which enables the restoration of a failed system on different hardware or in virtual environments until new hardware is acquired. DR saves many hours of reinstalling operating systems and applications, as well as ensuring all user settings are correct.
